We get asked and criticized by firefighters - “why do you guys train like this all of the time”? Did you forget that our job whether it be career or volunteer is consistently ranked in the top 3 most stressful jobs in the United States? Did you forget the commitment we owe to our families to come home after a fire or shift? Did you forget the commitment we have to our brother and sister firefighters of being able to pull them out in their time of need? Did you also forget the commitment to the people in the communities we serve and to be at our BEST at ALL times?
Since 1999 we lost 641 Brother and Sister Firefighters to medical related incidents in which 552 were cardiac in nature! Quit denying that we are out of shape as a whole and take a stance in keeping our brother and sister firefighters healthy and fit!

IT'S GREAT GETTING FEEDBACK LIKE THIS - "Hey Matt, first off I wanted to let you know that the firefighter fit message your spreading has helped me tremendously. I've lost 25 pounds so far and keep up to date with all your sites suggestions. We haven't started a circuit yet, but if I could get more guys motivated I would like to." With that being said.........................
