Friday, July 20, 2012 Reading City, PA Recruit Class 2012 goes above and beyond to help out a Brother and the community. You may have seen the restored fire hydrant advertisements on this and other websites. These are being sold to benefit Deputy Chief Ron Wentzel who has a brain tumor and has been of work since February.

Recruit Class 2012 stepped up, raised funds for purchase of a hydrant to help out their Deputy Chief and also made a collection of beach towels to donate to a local swim club for the local children to use!

We are proud to see that the true values of being a FIREMAN are being upheld by the Reading City Recruit Class 2012!
